Does the Huawei CPE Max 6 work with Zain, stc and Ooredoo in Kuwait?

Yes. The H362-383 ships unlocked, so it accepts a data SIM from any Kuwait carrier — Zain, stc or Ooredoo. It supports both 5G Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) modes and covers the n1 (2100 MHz), n3 (1800 MHz) and n78 (3.5 GHz) bands Kuwait's 5G networks are built on, plus the 4G LTE bands used for fallback.

What is the difference between the CPE Max 6 and the CPE Max 5?

Both are outdoor 5G CPE units rated to the same 5.4 Gbps peak download and 500 Mbps peak upload - the headline speed is not the difference. The Max 6 (H362-383) has higher-gain antennas (11 dBi vs 10.5 dBi), a faster 2.5GE handoff port instead of gigabit, and a 3-year warranty. The Max 5 (H352-381) has a 2-year warranty and is the better value unless you want the extra antenna gain or the 2.5GE port. Real-world speed on either is set mainly by distance to the serving cell and how accurately the unit is aimed - which is what the site survey determines.

How much does the CPE Max 6 cost installed in Kuwait?

The router is KWD 160. Standard installation for a home or small office is KWD 20 and is usually completed in a single visit. Sites that need a mast, a long cable run, or extra access points are quoted after the survey — we tell you that at the survey, not on the day of the install.

Can I use the CPE Max 6 indoors instead of outdoors?

It is designed as an outdoor unit and that is where it performs. The whole point of an outdoor CPE is to place the radio outside the building envelope, where reception is usually far stronger than anywhere indoors, then carry the connection inside over a single shielded cable. If you want a unit that sits inside the room, an indoor 5G CPE is the right product instead.

Will it survive Kuwait's summer heat and dust?

The enclosure is IP65-rated, meaning it is dust-tight and protected against water jets, which covers Kuwait's dust and the occasional wash-down or rain. Our installers also mount it so it is not baking in unnecessary direct sun where the site allows, and fit weatherproofing, grounding and surge protection on the cable entry.

Do you install the pole, mast and cabling as well, or only the router?
