About the Grandstream GDS3702

The GDS3702 is a door intercom without a camera, for places where a voice call to open the door is enough or where a camera is not wanted. A visitor presses the button and talks over HD audio to a SIP desk phone, the Wave app or any SIP extension, which can then release the door.

Its microphones pick up speech from up to 1.5 m and its 2 W speaker carries about 3 m. Two relays switch an electric lock and a second device such as a light, and two inputs take an exit button and a door contact so the system knows when the door is left open.

The metal case is IP66 and IK10 and works from -30 to 60 °C. It is powered over PoE, or from 12 V DC with an adapter bought separately, and mounts on the wall or flush with the in-wall kit, also sold separately. GDS Manager software manages several units.

It suits service doors, staff entrances, gates of warehouses and compounds, and villas that want a simple, sturdy talk-and-open unit tied to their PBX.
