How much do fiber splicing & termination services cost in Kuwait?

Fusion splicing: from 4 KWD (fusion splicing, per core). Patch panels & ODFs: from 90 KWD (Rack-mount ODF or fiber patch panel, 24 cores, installed). Emergency fiber repair: from 150 KWD (emergency repair: locate, splice and test a cut cable). Exact prices are fixed in writing after a 20 KWD site visit, deducted from your invoice.

What loss should a good splice have?

A fusion splice is typically under 0.1 dB. We record the loss of each splice and replace any that are out of range.

How do you find where a fiber is cut?

With an OTDR, which shows the distance to the break. We then expose the cable there, splice it into a closure and retest the whole link.

Do you supply the ODFs, pigtails and closures?

Yes, matched to the cable type and core count, or we can fit the ones you already have.
