IT support for branches, kiosks and POS in Kuwait

UltraTech Kuwait supports the IT of café, restaurant and retail chains across Kuwait: the POS terminal, receipt printer, cameras, recorder, router and Wi-Fi at every branch and kiosk, under one contract with one helpdesk. A branch that can't take payment counts as a critical fault and gets a same-day response.

One branch, layer by layer

Every branch runs on the same few layers. When a counter stops, the fault is in one of them, and each has its own usual suspects.

  1. Counter

POS terminal or tablet, cash drawer, barcode scanner, customer display

Goes wrong: The app freezes, sales stop syncing, the scanner stops reading

We do: Device and peripheral support, offline-mode and sync checks, app or browser reinstall

  2. Receipts

    Thermal receipt printer

Goes wrong: Worn print head, paper path, lost pairing with the POS

We do: Head cleaning, paper-path checks, re-pairing; replacement arranged when it's worn out

  3. Payments

    Card terminal from your bank

Goes wrong: Lost connection to the POS or the network

We do: We check its connection and power; the terminal itself stays with your bank

  4. Network

    Router, switch and Wi-Fi

Goes wrong: POS on the guest Wi-Fi, factory passwords, a dropped line

We do: Router, switch and Wi-Fi support; POS on its own network; passwords changed

  5. Cameras

    Cameras and a recorder

Goes wrong: A disk failing quietly, the clock drifting, a camera knocked off its view

We do: Online and view checks, recording and retention, disk health, time sync

  6. Back office

A PC for orders and reports

Goes wrong: Windows and email problems, back-office software issues

We do: Windows, email and Office support; first-line help with your business software

Every kind of site a chain runs

Kit and access rules differ from one type of site to the next. The contract lists each site, so every one is covered for what it actually has.

  • Street branch

PC, receipt printer, cameras, recorder, router and Wi-Fi

  • Mall kiosk

POS, tablet or laptop, receipt printer, a camera and a recorder

  • Co-op outlet

PC, receipt printer, cameras and a recorder

  • Factory or central kitchen

    PC, cameras and a recorder

  • Head office

PCs, laptops, office printers and the server cabinet

What branch support covers

01

Multi-branch IT support

Every branch, kiosk and office on one contract, one helpdesk and one invoice. Nearby sites are grouped into one route, from Jahra to Fahaheel.

02

POS & receipt printer support

The till and everything plugged into it: cash drawer, scanner, customer display, card terminal connection, and the receipt printer it pairs with.

03

Kiosk & mall outlet support

Kiosks in malls and co-operative societies, where visits run on someone else's clock. We plan around access hours; you arrange the permits.

When a branch can't trade

A branch calls at 11:00: the POS takes the order, but no receipt prints. This is what happens next.

  1. 1

    Ticket opened

Branch, device label and the symptom recorded. A branch that can't complete sales is a critical fault.

  2. 2

    Remote check

We check the printer's pairing and settings in the POS. Many receipt faults end here.

  3. 3

    Engineer sent

If the printer itself has failed, an engineer goes to the branch with a same-day response.

  4. 4

    Part quoted

A worn-out printer is quoted for replacement; common spares are kept in stock in Kuwait.

Who looks after what

A branch depends on three outside providers. We don't take their place, but we stop a fault from bouncing between them.

Your POS software provider

Application changes, menus, reports and bugs

We fix the device side and send them a clear description of the fault.

Your bank

The card terminal itself

We check its connection and power, so you know whether to call the bank.

Your internet provider

The line into the branch

We check the router and network first, so the provider gets the right complaint.

Starting with a chain

The first month is a visit to every site: each device recorded and labelled by branch, passwords and settings collected, and a health report per site with urgent issues first. After that, every branch speaks the same language when it calls.
