For international companies with a branch in Kuwait

UltraTech acts as the local IT buyer for foreign companies operating in Kuwait. Your IT team decides what the Kuwait office needs; we buy it here, set it up and look after it, so nothing has to be shipped in and nobody has to fly over to install it.

We do this for

  • Branches and subsidiaries of foreign companies
  • Regional and representative offices
  • Oil, gas and construction contractors with project offices in Kuwait
  • Engineering firms and consultancies working on Kuwaiti projects
  • Embassies and international organisations
  • International retail, hotel and restaurant brands opening Kuwait locations
  • Companies opening their first office in Kuwait

Five things that go wrong when a company buys IT in Kuwait

  1. 01The cheaper laptop has a warranty from another country

We buy through the brand's official channel in Kuwait. You get the serial numbers, so you can check the warranty on the manufacturer's website yourself.

  2. 02Half the team got the wrong keyboard

We ask about keyboard layout for each user before ordering, not after.

  3. 03The model in the quote is gone by the time it's approved

Our quotations list the exact part number and a named alternative that we have already checked, so approval doesn't start over from zero.

  4. 04Ten boxes arrive and nobody can use them for a week

On request we prepare the devices before delivery, so staff sit down and log in.

  5. 05Two years later, nobody knows what was bought

Every order is handed over with a written list: device, serial number, who it was given to, and when the warranty ends.

How an order runs

  1. 1

    You email what you need

  2. 2

We check it with the distributor

  3. 3

    You get a written quotation

  4. 4

    We prepare the equipment

  5. 5

    Delivery and handover

The list you keep after every order

This is the part most suppliers skip. It costs us an hour and it saves you a lot of searching later, when a device fails or an auditor asks what the company owns.

Three habits that save money over the life of the equipment

1

Pick two or three models and stay with them

2

Buy for four years, not for today

3

Replace on a plan, not when things break

Buying for an office and buying for a tender are different jobs

For your own office

We start from how people work: who travels, who runs heavy software, who only needs email. The quotation is shaped around that, and we'll tell you where a cheaper model is good enough.

For a tender or a project BOQ

The specification is already written and the job is to match it exactly. We price item by item, flag anything discontinued or hard to get in Kuwait, and propose a compliant alternative with its data sheet so the consultant can approve it.

What to put in your email

  • How many devices, and who will use them (accounts, design, reception…)
  • Any software they must run, especially heavy programs like AutoCAD or accounting systems
  • Keyboard layout: Arabic and English, or English only
  • A brand your IT already uses, if you want to stay with it
  • When you need it, and the delivery address
  • Whether you want the devices set up before delivery

Or write to info@utechkw.com. A rough list is fine; attach a tender BOQ if you have one.

Questions we get asked

Do you only take large orders?

No. We quote one laptop the same way we quote fifty. Small offices are most of our customers.

Can you match a price I found online?

Tell us where you found it. If it's the same model sold with a Kuwait warranty, we'll look at it properly. If it isn't, we'll explain the difference and you can decide.

Can you quote against a tender or a BOQ?

Yes. Email the document and we return a priced quotation item by item, with an alternative wherever a specified model is no longer available.

Who do we call when something breaks under warranty?

Us. We raise the claim with the brand or distributor and follow it until the device is repaired or replaced.

Which brands do you supply?

The business ranges of the major brands sold through official distributors in Kuwait. If your IT team has already standardised on one brand, we quote that brand.

Can you deliver to several branches?

Yes. Tell us which devices go where and we deliver and hand over at each site, with one asset list covering all of them.

Do you take away the old computers?

We can collect old devices when we deliver the new ones. Tell us beforehand if the data on them needs to be wiped first.

Have a list ready?

Email it as it is. We'll come back with questions if anything is unclear, then a written quotation.
