About the TP-Link TL-SX3008F

The SX3008F is a compact, silent 10G fibre switch. Its eight SFP+ slots are a common choice for the small core of an Omada network, where the uplinks from a few access switches meet the router, or for a 10G link between a server, a NAS and a backup unit. With no fan and a maximum draw of 15.5 W, it can sit in an office cabinet without adding noise.

It is non-blocking at 160 Gbps with a 16 Mbit buffer and 32K MAC table. The L2+ feature set includes 48 static routes, DHCP server and relay, 4K VLANs with private VLAN, QinQ and voice VLAN, IGMP and MLD snooping, and ERPS ring protection. OAM and DDM report on the fibre links and transceivers.

It can be adopted by an Omada controller in the cloud, on hardware or in software for central management with the rest of the network, or run standalone through web, CLI and SNMP using the RJ45 or Micro-USB console. The 1U chassis mounts in a 19-inch rack and is rated for 0 to 50 °C.
