Netgate builds the official hardware for pfSense Plus — the commercial edition of the world's most widely deployed open-source firewall. UltraTech supplies Netgate appliances in Kuwait and is one of the few local integrators whose engineers work on the pfSense platform daily: our own UTKGate managed firewall line runs on it.

The fanless Netgate 1100 for home offices and small shops, the 2100 and 4200 for growing offices, and 6100/8200 class gateways where higher throughput, more users, or 10G interfaces are needed. Every unit ships with pfSense Plus preinstalled and no per-user licensing.

What our deployment includes

Firewall rule design from a hardened baseline, WireGuard/OpenVPN/IPsec VPN with two-factor authentication, multi-WAN failover across Kuwaiti ISPs, VLAN segmentation for guest and IoT networks, traffic shaping, and documented handover. We also migrate rule sets from expired FortiGate, SonicWall, and consumer firewalls onto Netgate hardware.

Netgate vs. building your own pfSense box

pfSense can run on any PC, but Netgate appliances are sized, tested, and supported by the software's makers — with proper console access, low power draw, and TAC support entitlement. For business use we recommend genuine Netgate hardware; for special cases we also build and support custom pfSense installations.
