How much your villa needs, where it goes, and how we take it from the site visit to the handover.

A Kuwaiti villa needs a ceiling Wi-Fi access point on every floor (two on a large floor, one per apartment), outdoor cameras on the gates, parking and sides of the house, and a gate intercom answered on your phone, all cabled back to one network cabinet.
UltraTech Kuwait's villa planner below works it out for your villa, and an engineer confirms it at a site visit before the quotation.

What does a typical villa with a basement and three floors need?
Five access points, six outdoor cameras on an 8-channel recorder, one gate station and four IP phones, all cabled to one cabinet. It is the same villa as in the video.
| System | Count | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Access points | 5 | One per floor, the basement and the annex; the apartment uses its floor's |
| Outdoor cameras | 6 | Gate, parking, three for the sides and back, roof door |
| Recorder | 8 channels | The smallest that fits every camera |
| Gate station | 1 | Answered on your phone |
| IP phones | 4 | Majlis, kitchen, maid's room, diwaniya |
| Cable points | 23 | Every device and network point, plus the roof 5G run |
How many Wi-Fi access points does a villa in Kuwait need?
One ceiling access point per floor, two on a floor over about 300 m², one for a roof annex, and at least one for each separate apartment. A villa with a basement, three floors and an annex usually needs about five.
The engineer confirms the number at the site visit, from the walls and the layout. A garden or pool adds an outdoor access point.
Mesh or wired access points in a concrete villa?
Wired. Concrete slabs block Wi-Fi between floors, so mesh units that link wirelessly lose speed with every floor. A cabled ceiling access point on each floor gives the same speed throughout the villa.
We use mesh only where a cable can't reach, such as an outbuilding across the yard.
Where should CCTV cameras go on a villa?
Outside: every gate, the parking, the sides and back of the house, and the roof door if the roof is used. Most Kuwaiti villas don't need indoor cameras. All cameras are cabled to a recorder in the villa, and you watch them on your phone.
Cabled cameras don't depend on Wi-Fi, and they are harder to break into than wireless ones.
Do you need an intercom screen inside the house?
Not necessarily. Most people answer the gate in an app on their phone and open it from anywhere. Indoor screens are optional, for example in the kitchen or for older family members.
With IP phones on a small PBX, the gate rings them and your mobile at the same time.
Should villa cabling be done before or after plaster?
Before plaster is best: while the villa is a shell, we lay conduits and Cat6 to every point. In a finished villa, we run cables neatly through ceilings and trunking, out of sight. Either way, every cable is labelled at both ends.
We recommend at least one network point per room; the final number is your call.
Which internet line works best for a villa in Kuwait?
Most areas run on 5G rather than fiber. We place the router where the signal is strongest (on the roof for an outdoor unit), cable it to the cabinet, and check Zain, stc and Ooredoo at the visit.
Home 5G lines usually don't give you a public IP address, so we connect the cameras to your phone through the maker's app.
How much does a villa network cost?
It depends on the villa, so we don't price it before seeing it. It starts with a site visit, then you get the design and the quotation. Home technical visit: 30 KWD, deducted from your final invoice if you go ahead with us.
Quote requests are reviewed by a person and answered within 4-8 working hours.
Which brands do you install?
Standard is TP-Link Omada; premium is Ruijie or Ubiquiti; other brands on request. For cameras and the intercom, we suggest the brand after the visit.
How does a villa network project run, from site visit to handover?
Nine steps: plan online, book a visit, the engineer surveys, you get the design and quotation, you approve, then we cable, install, test and hand over. Delivery and installation start within 2–3 days after the 50% advance is cleared. Project completion time depends on the scope and requirements.

Building a new villa, or fixing one that never worked right? Here's how we plan the whole thing, from the first click to the handover.
Start with our villa planner. Tell us your floors, apartments and gates, and tick what you need: Wi-Fi, cameras, intercom and phones.
Then book a site visit online, and confirm it on WhatsApp. The visit fee comes off your invoice if you go ahead.
Our engineer surveys the villa: the 5G signal on the roof, the concrete between the floors, and the right spot for every access point, camera and gate station.
Within four to eight working hours, you get the design and the quotation, with options that fit your budget.
Approve it, pay the fifty percent advance, and the work starts within two to three days.
Still under construction? We lay the conduits and cables before the plaster. Already finished? We run them neatly, out of sight.
Then we install: access points on every floor, outdoor cameras on the gates and parking, the gate station, and a network cabinet with the switch, recorder and UPS.
We test everything: Wi-Fi in every room, cameras live on your phone, and the gate calls you wherever you are.
At handover, you get the drawings, labelled cables, the apps set up for your family, and a one-year hardware warranty.

What this is based on
These rules come from our work on Kuwaiti villas: concrete floors, roof annexes, separate apartments and 5G home lines. Every number here is a starting point that the engineer confirms at the visit. See a villa we networked · Reviewed by Eng. M. Ahmed
