The RG-NIS3100-8GT4SFP-HP is the fibre-ring model of the NIS3100: eight Gigabit PoE+ ports on a 240 W budget plus four SFP ports, so two can close an ERPS ring while two more link onward switches. It is rated −40 to +80 °C with airflow, IP40, with 6 kV surge protection and coated circuit boards for salt air. With only two fibre links needed, the NIS3100-8GT2SFP-HP costs less.
