About the Akuvox S535 Door Phone with Fingerprint Expansion Unit
The Akuvox S535 face recognition door phone fitted with its fingerprint expansion unit: face, fingerprint, card, PIN, Bluetooth and QR code on one aluminium IP66 / IK08 panel.
Face recognition alone does not suit every person who uses a gate. Staff in helmets or face coverings, or people the camera struggles with in harsh backlight, need another quick biometric. This S535 adds Akuvox's fingerprint expansion unit under the touchscreen panel, so the same terminal recognises a face or a finger, and stores up to 20,000 fingerprint templates alongside 20,000 faces.
The rest is the S535: a 5-inch 720 × 1280 touchscreen with the resident or staff directory, two 2MP cameras with liveness detection, a reader for 125 kHz EM and 13.56 MHz Mifare, DESFire and FeliCa cards (up to 100,000), PIN codes (up to 100,000), Bluetooth 5.0 with the Akuvox app and QR codes for visitors. Calls go to Akuvox indoor monitors, SIP phones or the SmartPlus app.
With the fingerprint unit the panel is 260 × 100 × 27 mm, still aluminium, IP66 and IK08, for flush or on-wall mounting; Akuvox's installation kit fits the panel with its expansion unit on the wall. It has one relay, two inputs, RS485, Wiegand and a 12V / 500 mA output, and runs on 802.3at PoE+ or 12V DC 3A. The rated range is -40 °C to +55 °C.
