About the Akuvox E13S

A one-button SIP video door phone with infrared night vision that mounts flush in the wall or on its surface, powered by PoE or 12V DC.

The Akuvox E13S sits between the slim E12 and the metal R20A. Like the E12 it is a plastic, one-button door phone at an entry price; unlike the E12 it can be recessed into the wall for a flush finish, and it sees at night with infrared LEDs instead of a white light, so the visitor is not dazzled and the camera still shows them clearly.

The 2MP camera covers 114° horizontally and 58° vertically at up to 1080p and 30 fps. A press of the button rings an Akuvox indoor monitor, a SIP phone or the SmartPlus app, and the door opens from the call or with a card: the 13.56 MHz reader takes Mifare and FeliCa cards and Android phones over NFC, up to 5,000 cards.

One relay drives the lock or gate and two inputs take an exit button and a door contact. A Wiegand port links it to an access control panel. It runs on an 802.3af PoE cable, or a 12V DC supply where there is no PoE, and its ONVIF stream can be recorded on an NVR.

The IP65 body measures 160 × 86 × 25 mm and is rated for -40 °C to +60 °C. A tamper alarm reports if it is forced off the wall.
